She has directed primary care service lines, been medical director of a virtual-first primary and urgent care company, sat on the board of an accountable care organization, and led virtual care transformation as an Associate Chief Medical Officer. She holds a PhD in Leadership Studies and builds AI tools herself. Every engagement draws on work she has done.
Lisa Belisle, MD, PhD, MPH, MBA, is a physician executive with separate board certifications in Family Medicine and in Preventive Medicine, and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Health Care Administration, Leadership and Management. She is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) with the American Association for Physician Leadership and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP). She has led health systems through virtual care transformation, workforce redesign, and organizational change as an Associate Chief Medical Officer. Her doctoral research on leading through change in healthcare delivery settings has been published in the Healthcare Administration Leadership & Management Journal, and her leadership programs for women in medicine have earned CME accreditation through the Maine Medical Education Trust. Based on the coast of Maine, she works nationally as a physician leadership coach, consultant, and speaker, and hosts Radio Maine.
